FAQ

I moved and I’m self-employed too – what then?

Mixed situations are common. In practice, the “moving year” part often points to M-form, while the entrepreneur sections point to O-form. Message Jolande and she’ll confirm the correct route quickly.

Can I file online?

Yes — most expat returns can be filed online via Mijn Belastingdienst (usually with DigiD). We guide you through what’s needed and handle the preparation and checks.

Do I need DigiD?

Often yes (especially for online filing). If you don’t have DigiD or have issues, contact Jolande — she’ll tell you the best option for your situation.

What if I didn’t receive an invitation?

You may still benefit from filing voluntarily (many expats do, especially in a migration year). Jolande can confirm quickly if filing makes sense.

How does 30% ruling affect which form I need?

The 30% ruling typically doesn’t change the form type (P/M/C/O) — it changes key parts inside the return (e.g., how certain items are treated). Jolande will make sure this is set up correctly.
